Disney announced that it has collaborated with Apple to develop a new contactless ticket on Mar. 30. This new app will allow Apple consumers to use their Apple Watch and iPhone to enter Disney parks.
According to 9to5Mac's latest report, the new MagicMobile pass works just like the users' Apple Pay cards. It also supports the Express Mode feature. Thanks to this new technology, people no longer need to open their devices. All they need to do is tap their smartphones or smartwatches and enter the popular theme park.
If you want to add the latest MagicMobile pass, the first thing you need to do is install the "My Disney Experience" application.
Here are other details you should know:
How to use the new MagicMobile pass
Disney Parks' official blog post explained that once the users install the new MagicMobile pass, they can start customizing their passes. They can do this by choosing from several Disney-themed designs that animate upon use. These include DVC Members and Annual Passholders.
On the other hand, you can also store more than one pass on a single device, which saves your friends and family members the hassle of using their smartphones and smartwatches.
Meanwhile, to use the latest application of Apple and Disney, the users need to hold their iPhone, smartwatch, and other Apple devices near an access point before they enter Disney's vicinities. Apple and Disney also confirmed that users should have a valid park admission and a park reservation before they can enter the Disney parks.
MagicMobile app's new features
Disney confirmed that they integrated a new feature on the My Disney Experience app. This allows the application to automatically link the user's Disney PhotoPass attraction photos and videos to their smartphone profiles. All you need to do is confirm their settings before they enter the popular themed-park. On the other hand, the new feature also allows the My Disney Experience app to be used as a digital key to unlock the guests' rooms.
