The iOS 14.5 is just around the corner, and we might soon be able to use it on our iOS devices. However, this does not mean that we should overlook the possibilities of Apple releasing iOS 15 and how it will make a difference for iPhone users.
Like the upcoming iOS version, iOS 15 could feature new camera options, as well as upgrades in its default apps. Who does not want to improve the next wave of iPhone apps?
The best is yet to come. But for now, let's visualize how these features could come and how close we could get them on our iPhone devices.
September is the Expected Date for iOS 15
Last June 2020, there was a slight teaser of Apple's current iOS version during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). On Jun. 22. 2020. the iOS 14 was revealed together with the MacOS Big Sur and iPadOS 14.
The next WWDC may be held in June yet again, but since it's still three months away, Apple remains silent about its plans.
Usually, the public beta test always happens during summer, and this will be the time for the developers to test the system and look for flaws that need fixing later.
With this assumption, the predicted release date of iOS 15 will be in September, together with the launch of the iPhone 13. Following the pattern of iOS 14's introduction in September, there's a big chance that Apple will officially reveal the new iOS six months from now, CNET reported.

What Do We Expect to See for iOS 15?
In a report by Tech Radar, iOS 15 is expected to be a bigger update than iOS 14 since this will rely on upgrades and additional features that could be added soon. But, what should we look forward to for the release of the said OS?
Guaranteed iOS 14 Device Support
While the previous iOS has a wide range of support, we could assume that Apple might leave the old models and replace them with the new ones. In that case, we could expect that the iOS 15 will also support devices that rely on iOS 14.
If you have an iPhone 6S series smartphone or an iPhone SE, you could look forward to this feature.
Newly-Improved Siri
Improving an OS system comes with developing its virtual assistant, which is always used for voice command. We could expect additional tasks that Siri can do. It could also be in the form of another feature that could make Siri a smarter tool that we can use to improve our task management at home, in school, and at our workplace.
Most of all, we simply want Siri to get even better at understanding us and accurately answering our questions. We'd also like less reliance on web results and more bespoke answers instead.
Apple Maps Upgrade
When it comes to Apple Maps, the "cycling directions" is one of the best features that we could get from this feature. If we get lost while traveling, the Guide feature will be a reliable companion.
However, these two features are still on our list of expectations, so expanding what they could do will spell a huge difference in accessing travel paths through the smart preference of routes to avoid unnecessary road obstacles.
Apple Store Wish List
The Wish List feature in the App store has been previously used by the old iOS. However, a few years ago, Apple decided to remove it.
This feature might be simple, but wouldn't be amazing if we have a track book of our goals for a specific year? Let's make this happen again in iOS 15.
Translate App Should Add More Languages
Apple's Translate app was added in iOS 14 where the users can freely select what languages they will translate. At the time, only 12 languages were supported.
The company could compete with Google Translate this time, which supports 109 languages worldwide. If Apple makes this true, we could see if it comes close with what Google can do, or it could be much better.
Although these features sound great, be reminded that these are nothing but speculations and expectations as Apple is yet to reveal anything about iOS 15, so take everything with a grain of salt. In the end, Apple will decide when and what it will release.
