In July last year, Graham Ivan Clark hacked into the accounts of known celebrities such as Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Former President Barack Obama, Kim Kardashian, Wiz Khalifa, President Joe Biden, and more. The hack happened simultaneously and this resulted due to a phishing scam against Twitter employees which allowed access to most accounts.

Initially, Twitter acknowledged the attack in a Twitter Support tweet last year, saying that they are working on ways to fix the issues, resulting in personal accounts unable to change the password and the like. Twitter activity and use were limited to several functions, one where users can only tweet and read from the timeline.

On the other hand, Graham Ivan Clark also gained access to the cryptocurrency platform "Gemini," which made the hack look more legitimate, gathering more people to transfer Bitcoins to his account. Gemini CEO Tyler Winklevoss (@tyler) confirmed that the hackers got access despite having Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled.

According to the prosecutors of the case, Clark would be feeling like he was in actual jail, particularly to teach him of his crimes and form him into a model citizen as soon as he gets out in three years. Moreover, in three years, Clark will be 21 years old, which means that he would be in the legal age and further crimes would convict him for good.
