'Assassin's Creed: Valhalla' Full Update 1.2.0 Includes Ostara Festival, Transmog- Players Still Disappointed About it

Fans have been longing for the addition of the transmogrification or transmog in "Assassin's Creed Valhalla." While Ubisoft has made their players' request possible, disappointment about it took the game forums by storm.

Starting from the Ostara Festival to the most requested transmog, players can now customize their gears while retaining their stats. This could also give them more time to be more creative in designing their characters' attires like what they can do in other multiplayer online games.

Of course, the best gears should come at the price of deciding between the stats and your preferred aesthetics in the game, so it is a matter of the "choose your poison" dilemma that players are facing.

As the game developer, Ubisoft is responsive enough to fulfill the wants of their players to better expand the in-game aesthetics. However, what was supposed to be pure pleasure became a dissatisfaction for the community.

As we recall the past title before "Valhalla," the "Assassin's Creed Odyssey," players could freely transmog their gear straight from the inventory. But, the newest version will require you to pay 50 Silver first.

In order to do this, head to Ravensthorpe and look for Gunnar, whom you should pay to transmog the desired gear for every part of your outfit.

While acquiring Silver is not be a headache during the early game, the game's late progress will force you to sell some of your in-game accessories if you want to beautify your character's outfit.

Why Fans Grew Disappointed with the 'Valhalla' 1.2.0 Update

IGN spotted a Reddit thread where players have the same kind of complaint: the difficulty of getting a Silver in "Valhalla." According to a user named u/Rick_The_Mullet_Man said that he struggles to collect money after the raid-and-loot process as 50 Silver is not small in the game.

"Transmog was free in Odyssey. No reason for it to cost 50 silver each time here. I know it's a small amount, but the fact I have to consciously think about how much/often I use the feature is quite ridiculous IMO," another user named u/EmboardIsland stated.

Still, another Redditor named u/ever-advancing commented that Ubisoft's move in enabling the acquisition of Silver from "Valhalla's" store is "disgusting." He added that the company is only doing that to lure people into spending real money for the Silver.

How Ubisoft will react could depend on how the team is willing to turn the negative feedback from their players into something positive.

Release Date and Other Things That You Should Know

According to NME, the 1.2.0 update will be available on Mar. 16 in Xbox platforms, PS4, PS5, Stadia, and PC. Moreover, the second DLC of "Immortal Fenyx Rising" will be launched on Mar.25. The said package will feature Ku, from the Chinese mythology-themed "Myths of the Eastern Realm."
