His later admissions' exact details were not disclosed to the public but confirmed to be unrelated to coronavirus. Both Prince Philip and the Queen were vaccinated against the virus on January 9, 2021

It is said that The Duke of Edinburgh had undergone successful heart surgery at Bartholomew's Hospital last Wednesday, March 3.

By March 5, the statement of Prince Philip's successful operation had been announced. The full statement includes details on the duke remaining in King Edward VII's Hospital to continue his treatment for the next few days.
