"Bravely Default 2" has recently been released by Nintendo in the Western Hemisphere and regions on the last week of February, but there are several gamers who have already finished the game. However, players may be fooled by the game's ending, as the title does not end immediately well after defeating the final boss.
The game may already be finished but it is not a short game, as the different stories and surprising turns from the game make it a one-of-a-kind role-playing game (RPG) that focuses on the narrative effectively.
"Bravely Default" is a series of its own, having almost a 9-year gap since its original release for the Nintendo 3DS last 2012, highly-ranking with fans and enthusiasts of the game.
'Bravely Default 2:' True Ending
According to Attack of the Fanboy, "Bravely Default 2" holds a secret ending, which is the game's true ending as players would continue the game after defeating the final boss of the sequel. Most players would just end the game after the final boss, but a mini-quest still needs to be finished to end the story properly.
'Bravely Default 2:' How to Get the True Ending
The boss called "Adam" which has almost 100,000 HP is one of the hardest bosses to defeat in video game history, as he provides an unreal experience for gamers to go up against without dying. Players would have to try and try again to defeat the big boss, and it requires patience, skill, and a whole lot of upgrades and health attributes to survive.
The Night's Nexus
Adelle's sister would start a narrative that aims to cleanse the world of everything that transpired, and removing everything with a fresh start. The Night's Nexus is needed, but eventually, players would be led to defeat Edna. After defeating Edna, users would be put at a crossroads to sacrifice a life to save the world, and this is where Gloria would step-up.
Saving Gloria
Gloria disappears and a cutscene surfaces. From this point on, users could save the game and end from there. However, after reloading the game, another cutscene would appear and it would bring back Gloria, triggering a "Chapter 6," that aims to defeat the Nexus without Gloria dying.
Journey to Wiswald Woods and Mag Mell where a city would be unlocked. Follow the steps of Esmeralda, queen of fairies, to reach the Night's Nexus core, and there a battle would ensue. The Nexus would not be defeated, but Adelle would sacrifice herself to lock the evil being, thus saving everyone.
Half Asterisk
Save the game from Adelle's sacrifice, and load it again to trigger the next hidden adventure for "Bravely Default 2." Sir Sloan's Asterisk would appear and hint at the Nexus' origins in the past, where users would see the half-broken asterisk that was defeated in battle. Sir Sloan's ghost would explain everything and that players would need to complete all Jobs on the list.
After the Jobs, open the Save menu again, and this time, users would see a purple icon that shines, and it would trigger another scene for the final moments of the game. From here on, users would have to play according to instructions to unlock the true and final ending of "Bravely Default 2."
