'Genshin Impact' Version 1.4 Update: New Character, Mini-Dating Sim, and Windblume Festival Added

A new special program livestream has done by miHoYo revealed the arrival of "Genshin Impact" Version 1.4, and it also gave a sneak peek of what fans of the video game could expect in the new update.

The upcoming "Genshin Impact" content includes more story quests for players, a new Banner character and new Hangout Events. It will also include arena challenges and new weapons, according to Inverse.

An update of a video game can add numerous things like events, new characters, rewards, and quality of life adjustments. Version 1.3 of "Genshin Impact" brought characters like Hu Tao, Xiao, and events like the Lantern Rite Festival.

For fans of the game who are anticipating the release of Version 1.4 of "Genshin Impact," you are in for a treat as miHoYo confirmed the addition of a new character named Rosaria.

Rosaria has been confirmed as a playable character and is set to have her own Banner. Tartaglia and Venti will also get re-runs, which means that players have a higher chance of pulling them through the video game's Wish system during Version 1.4.

The update, which is named "Invitation of Windblume," will show a Mondstadt celebration similar to the Liyue Lantern Rite Festival seen in Version 1.3. This means that decorations and other seasonal items will be found in the new version of the game.

Fans of the video game can find new weapons that are up for grabs too, and the story content will also have a new boss fight and the cameo of Dainsleif, which is one of the characters expected in "Genshin Impact."

New events and new challenges will also be included with the Version 1.4 update, and it will also include a special Hangout Event and battle arena, according to GameWith.

Genshin Impact 1.4 new events

One of the exciting additions in "Genshin Impact" Version 1.4 is the Contending Tides event. The Dadaupa Gorge's Meaty Arena is for any player who wants to contend for the title of "Strongest in Teyvat." Players can also test their mettle in the area in exchange for rewards such as EXP Books and Primogems.
