T-Mobile has reportedly been quite popular along with consumers, but still an underdog when it comes to service in the corporate world. The telecommunications carrier wants to be able to change that with a different rollout of 5G.
T-Mobile's twist on 5G rollout for companies
According to the story by CNN, the company publicly announced on Thursday a new series of other offerings for business customers including the corporate wireless plans that had unlimited data nad 5G access, other cloud-based workplace communication tools, and even the "home office internet" program directly targeting the obvious. Since the pandemic, a huge fraction of jobs have now been done at home and with the pandemic slowly ending, the trend might still continue.
The brand new service wants to utilize not just T-Mobile's own 5G network, but also the entire shift into working from home during the pandemic. 5G is also known to be the next generation wireless network technology capable of faster speeds as well as higher bandwidth all compared to the current 4G LTE networks.
T-Mobile vs AT&T and Verizon
This would be a massive shift in strategy for the country's very own third-largest wireless carrier. In the recent announcement made by T-Mobile, the company announced that they acknowledge other competitors like AT&T and Verizon to still have the massive 90% share of the enterprise wireless market.
T-Mobile, however, is now very confident that they will be able to make some strong inroads into the whole enterprise 5G market. This actually estimates at at least $40 this upcoming 2025. In fact, the enterprise applications, while probably less exciting for the normal consumer, are still expected to be the largest revenue drivers for the network operators that have reportedly spent both billions of dollars and years rolling out 5G.

T-Mobile 'Home Office Internet'
CEO Mike Sievert recently notes in a press conference that they now have the resources as well as an unmatched network for the theme not only to be in the game but to even change the game itself. For the brand new corporate wireless plans that use unlimited data as well as 5G access, the company says that it will be able to match the prices of their competitors that impose data limits.
It has also introduced the T-Mobile Collaborate which is a suite of cloud-based workplace communication tools that can be used for other business customers. This includes automatic meeting transcription, video conferencing, and a lot of other features. Its other new product known as the T-Mobile "Home Office Internet" is reportedly a tool that is meant to replace workers' sometimes unstable home internet connections.
If a company would subscribe to the particular service, T-Mobile will then ship out routers to the employees for them to be able to have direct access to cell networks and be able to avail of mobile internet connections. According to an article by The Verge, Home Office Internet is an extension of the company's LTE based wireless home broadband consumer service.
