Samsung Exynos 2200 SoC is currently one of the latest chipsets in the market. However, Samsung has a lot of rivals that made a huge noise, including AMD, Apple's A14 Bionic chip, and many more.
If you have a hard time choosing between the two, this advanced comparison is the one for you. Sam Mobile reported that interested consumers previously wondered if the latest Samsung Exynos 2200 SoC could bring high-end features comparable with AMD's graphics and other features.
Their question may be answered since Samsung is allegedly developing two new models of the Exynos 2200 SoC. The first one will be designed specifically for Android smartphones, while the other one will be developed for its upcoming laptops.
A popular Twitter leaker, Anthony leaked this info.
"There will be two versions of the new Exynos chipsets. The mobile version & the Laptop version. The Laptop version is expected to be ~20% faster than the mobile version," he claimed via his official Twitter account.
Is Exynos 2200 SoC on par with A14?
Based on the Twitter leak, the laptop version of the Exynos 2200 SoC will be 20% faster than the smartphone model. Although this is the case, Samsung is currently improving its mobile chip version so that it will be a powerful sequel to its Exynos 2100. It is also expected to be a strong rival to the latest Apple A14 Bionic chipset.
When it comes to features, Samsung's smartphone chipset is expected to bring 25% better CPU performance and 2.5x faster graphics than its predecessor.
On the other hand, it is expected to be twice as fast as iPhone 12 lineup's current processor when it comes to graphics. This means that users will have a better video-watching and online gaming experience.

Although this is the case, there is no update yet regarding the upcoming mobile Exynos 2200 SoC's specific features. On the other hand, NoteBook Check reported that A14 has an Advanced Image Signal Processor, 16-Core Neural Engine, and other features that are hard to go against.
Apple is developing another smartphone chip?
Samsung is not the only one that is currently upgrading its mobile and laptop processors. Apple is also creating a new SoC that is expected to outperform its current A14 Bionic chipset. This means that Samsung's upcoming smartphone Exynos 2200 SoC, could also have some trouble once Apple finished its next-gen mobile chipset.
