The Samsung A32 was launched earlier this month, packing smooth lines and 5G smarts. But one thing seems lacking - a high refresh rate display. Now the South Korean-based company has announced a new iteration of the phone with a 4G variant that features a 90Hz display refresh rate.

Samsung A32 4G Specs, Features, and More

The Samsung A32 4G flaunts a 6.4-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate that is a significant improvement from the 5G version's 6.5-inch LCD panel. The device measures 158.9 x 73.6 x 8.4mm, weighs 184 grams, and is also the first of the Samsung A series line-up to feature a high refresh rate, as Android Authority reports.

That AMOLED panel also gives the A32 4G in-display fingerprint sensors smarts, swapping out the side-mounted capacitive sensor on the 5G variant. The Samsung A32 4G is protected with Gorilla Glass 5 and runs Android 11.

Other changes from the Samsung A32 4G are the rear camera upgraded to a 64MP rear-facing quad-camera setup alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera, 5MP depth camera, and a 5MP macro camera. Meanwhile, a 20MP camera with an F2.2 aperture is mounted up front, unlike the 5G variant with only a 48MP primary sensor.

As for the silicone, the Samsung A32 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core chipset sporting two 2GHz cores and six 1.8GHz cores is in use as Gizmochina reports. There are also two RAM options for the device (4GB and 8GB), while storage configurations are available in 64GB and 128GB maximum memory that can be expanded via microSD card up to 1TB. The company included a 5,000mAh for the Samsung A32 4G handheld with a 15W charging adapter.

Samsung A32 4G will come with Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Violet - sharing colorways and styling with its 5G sibling.

Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy A32 4G include Wi-Fi, GPS, a USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. It also features Samsung Pay and Samsung Knox.

As shown above, Samsung A32 4G and 5G variants do not differ only in the chipset department. The 5G version has a larger 6.5-inch LCD screen that supports HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The 5G version also has a different camera of 48MP, a front camera of 13MP, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Samsung A Series India Release

GSMArena reports that the Samsung A 4G Series (A32, A52, and A72) will launch in India soon. The Korean company's Indian website now lists the A32, A32 5G, A52, and A72 on its support pages.

There is still no certainty when the rest of the 5G A series will come to India, but the South Korean company will soon post an official note. In the meantime, India can purchase Samsung A-Series phones today.
