What's interesting about the revamped microphone is you can now mute and adjust each of them depending on your preference. It is easier now to use since if you like to try the mono recording using each transmitter, you can switch to stereo mode afterward.

The range of the transmitters is limited to 200 meters from the receiver. The latter will show you the battery's status, connectivity, input levels, and more features are given that it is within the scope.

Moreover, the addition of two LEDs will let you see the feedback of its gain and connectivity. If you want to record non-stop, the audio could exceed a length of more than 24 hours in the storage even the connection declines.

Expectation When it Comes to Performance

The Verge reported that the new features fully coordinated with each other. Even though the microphones can now pick up audio from different sources, it is still important to build a back-up for your data just in case they get corrupted or lost.

Going back to the update, Rode did not disappoint the buyers with the Wireless Go II. There is also a feature called Rode Central, which you can access via Windows and Mac app.

This user-friendly renovation will not anymore require you to download compatible software once you decided to record audio. Besides its portability, there is a safety channel where you can consider as an option if there is unnecessary noise in your recording.

Make sure that the Rode Central app is turned on, so you can use these features fully. You will also be notified once new firmware updates come in the future. Despite having previous Rode accessories, you can still integrate them with them since they are compatible with one another.
