Refurbished Apple M1 MacBook Air
The thing about refurbished devices is that not a lot of people know that it is not technically that bad and is still the exact same product that they are buying. Of course, it's also covered by a warranty to make buyers feel better.
According to MacRumors, as of today, Apple started offering refurbished versions of the recent M1 MacBook Air which was just released sometime in November 2020.
The prices of the refurbished MacBook Air models start at just $849! This is noted to be $150 cheaper in comparison to the standard price of $999 for the new model.
Apple has a silver, gold, and even a space gray M1 MacBook Air model that is equipped with an 8-core CPU, another 7-core GPU, a decent 8GB of RAM, as well as an option to purchase 16GB of RAM at the higher price of $1,019.
The new pricing is about 15% less compared to the retail price. This is quite standard for the refurbished devices that Apple sells.
Limited stocks only
Apple also previously started selling the new refurbished M1 MacBook Pro models for the very first time ever since its recent release.
Apple, however, has only limited stock available and the actual contents of the said refurbished store kind of fluctuate depending on what people have been able to send it in for both repair and replacement.
In addition, other high-end models might also be added some time in the future, so those that are still on the lookout for a specific M1 MacBook Air configuration should really check back every once in a while.
All of Apple's reported refurbished Macs are still sold with the company's standard one-year warranty.
