Oppo is gearing up for its launch in March 2021, and numerous leaks are surfacing online on the handheld device's specs and features. The most significant of all the rumors is the Find X's series resemblance to the iPhone 12.
Oppo Find X3 Release Date Leaks
In a Gizmochina report, a tipster named Jon Prosser leaked an important Oppo Find X Series information on Twitter. The tweet is an image of the variants with a caption that the smartphones will be officially announced on Mar. 11. Simultaneously, the company will start taking pre-orders on Mar. 31; and the device will be available to the public on Apr. 14.
In Jon Prosser's tweet, some netizens commented on how Oppo's Find X3 Series variants are more likely to look like Apple's iPhone lineup, saying that it is a reverse Apple 12 design and it is just a copy of the iPhone.
According to Cnet, Oppo is not shy about releasing smartphone designs that draw heavy inspiration from Apple products. Also, it is worth mentioning that last year, the Chinese brand unveiled its Oppo watch that was criticized for having an Apple watch resemblance. Oppo is not a famous brand in the United States, but it is one of the largest Chinese companies to make smartphones worldwide and become a threat to Apple in recent years, offering features such as no-notch displays under-the-glass sensors that are not present in the iPhone.
The Oppo Find X2 Series last year also broke away the expectations of critics and the first-generation Find X lineup to offer four different phones, namely the Find X2, Find X2 Pro, Find X2 Lite, and Find X2 Neo lineups.
Oppo Find X3 Specifications
According to Pocket-lint, the Find X3 Neo and Find X3 Pro will feature a curved edge-to-edge display, while the Find X3 and Find X3 Lite variants will have a flat display for the standard phones. The Find X3 Series will also sport a punch-hole selfie camera positioned at the top-left corner of the phone and a triple camera setup at the back, excluding the Find X3 Pro variant.
Besides that, the Find X3 Series will have different display sizes with the Find X3 Pro and Neo flaunting a 6.7-inch display with Quad HD+ screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate support. Meanwhile, the Find X3 Lite and Find X3 model will feature a 6.4-inch display.
The Pro variant is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, while the standard model is said to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The Pro model may come with a 4,500mAh battery and a 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charger with a 30W VOOC Air wireless charging port.
