Aside from its internal features, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has some external features that will protect it from any sort of damage. YouTube Channel Ramesh Bakotra posted a viral video showing how strong Samsung Galaxy A12 is.

In the viral footage, the YouTuber used seven metallic tools that are usually used to remove screws or fix things. He used each tool and tried to make a dent or scratch the cheap smartphone's screen. However, each of them wasn't able to at least make a small scratch on Samsung Galaxy A12.

He even used a cutter's blade and tried to damage the device's camera lenses, but the tool failed to do so. On the other hand, the YouTuber also used two kinds of the hammer. The first one has a sharp edge while the other one has a round edge on both sides.

Both of these hammers also failed to damage or even scratch Samsung Galaxy A12's screen.

Samsung Galaxy A12's specs

Aside from its scratch-proof screen, this cheap Samsung Galaxy smartphone also packs other advanced features. According to GSM Arena's previous report, Samsung Galaxy A12 is very different from other Galaxy A-series smartphones. Why? Because it doesn't feature AMOLED. Instead, it features an IPS panel.

On the other hand, there are also some physical changes that Samsung has integrated into its Galaxy A12. These include the slight bump in the display size of up to 6.5-inches. The Snapdragon 450 has also been replaced by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, which increases the clock speed of four. Aside from this, Samsung Galaxy A12 also has Cortex-A53 cores.

Other features

Aside from the display size change, Samsung Galaxy A12 also has memory configurations ranging from 3GB/32GB up to 6GB/128GB, allowing the user to have more options aside from the 1GB increase in the base RAM.

On the other hand, the 13MP sensor has been replaced by a much larger 48MP imager. These 48MP Quad-Bayer (or Tetracell to use the Samsung term) sensors helped significantly improve image quality in the mid-range and it's great to see it trickle down to the entry-level now.

Based on these features, if you are looking for a cheap smartphone with great specs, then you should give Samsung Galaxy A12 a try.
