'Legend of Mana' Coming to PS4 and Steam Too, Leaks Suggest!

The game is under development and its creators are still working on the role-playing game title to be fit for the Nintendo Switch platform, as several classic features are tweaked with modern additions. The popular Japanese media and entertainment conglomerate, Nintendo, has brought massive news and titles with its Nintendo Direct event, including new games.

While the "Legend of Mana" from Square is not an entirely new game, it would be first on the Nintendo platform, as only its sequels and other titles were featured under the Nintendo DS portable console. The main target of the remaster is to fit the game to the next-generation video and game quality, which is currently at 1920x1080p Full High Definition (FHD).

According to popular Twitter games and console leaker, Wario64 (@Wario64), the "Legend of Mana" was teased by Nintendo Direct on the event which has been showcased that it would come for the Nintendo Switch. Moreover, the leaker added that it would also come for the PlayStation 4 platform, along with Steam PC.


Being in the PlayStation 4 somehow makes it at home, as it was originally released for the PlayStation, and it would resemble almost the same controls as it had before, for familiar gamers. The leak suggests that as Square Enix's spotted trailer for the game shows the title card with PlayStation and Steam's logo below, suggesting its multi-platform release.

Nonetheless, it would be one of the most anticipated and expected games of the year, as the sweet hint of nostalgia and reliving the old school role-playing game would soon hit the stores. It is not yet known whether the game could be played via the PlayStation 5's backward compatibility, but fans hope that it would be.

According to IGN's report, the new additions for the game would mainly be a mix of the classic music, along with a rearranged and remastered version of it, which players can enjoy while gaming. The "Legend of Mana" would still feature the same role-playing game storyline that was well-received and loved by gamers, during its debut 20 years ago.

On the other hand, "Legend of Mana" would also stumble upon a new mini-game for the title, which is called the "Ring Ring Land," that would bring a new mode and fresh take on the game. The game's release date is not yet confirmed by Nintendo, and fans are advised to take this with a grain of salt.
