Sony PS5 DualSense Controller Alleged 'Minor Refurbishment' Leads to Lawsuit; Redditor Notes Design Flaw

A particular United States lawfirm has just filed a class action lawsuit directly against Sony. The allegations are due to the PS5 DualSense controller being defective due to the drift. The lawsuit alleges that Sony was aware of this particular problem but still did not disclose it. The lawsuit then calls Sony's conduct deceptive, fraudulent, unlawful, and also unfair.

An article by NME specifically notes that Sony has allegedly only just performed "minor refurbishment" to the known defected controllers and proceeded to send them back to the consumers.   • No countour indented where the grips meet
  • Makes middle finger go numb
  • Player experiences cramps from the said spread grip
  • Resistance against natural inclination to press down

Sony DualSense Controller lawsuit

According to the story by IGN, The complaint then describes the particular PS5 DualSense controller as actually "defective" noting that it is said to contain a particular defect that results in either characters or gameplay moving on the given screen even without any user command or even manual operation of the particular joystick that is more popularly known as the controller drift. The complaint then alleges that Sony actually has "at all relevant times" actually been aware of the given problems within the drift.
