If there is something specific that a lot of Xbox fans have been waiting for for quite a while, it is for the company to bring the Xbox xCloud to PC! It has already been an odd omission in the whole Cloud Gaming narrative so far but this should still change some time in the coming future.
Is xCloud available now?
According to the article by BestGamingPro, some time back in December, Microsoft had announced that the iOS and the PC would actually be added to the whole xCloud experience this coming spring of 2021! Although there wasn't a specific xCloud pc release date mentioned, there are reportedly a few visible changes being made towards this specific objective.
During the course of the past few weeks, Microsoft has reportedly rolled out its popular "Cloud Gaming" through the browser towards a number of users all inside of Microsoft. Up to date, this would actually be the largest group of certain cloud gaming beta testers for the PC iteration of the xCloud service and this is also one of the remaining last steps even before it makes its way to be offered publicly in a certain preview state.
Can I play Xbox cloud on PC?
For those at the moment who are currently testing out the service inside of Microsoft, the experience was noted as quite a bit buggy. However, this is usually expected especially during the beta phase. Also, the said streaming service can only work with either Microsoft or Edge as of the moment with Firefox and Safari users both needing to change their browser habits in order to use the particular service.
One thing noted by the article was that the writer was not entirely sure if the said stand-alone app for the Cloud Gaming is ever going to exist when the service finally makes its said public debut. Some time late last year, there was reportedly an app that had leaked and allowed users to play the xCloud on the PC through but the said app experience might still go away in favor of the much easier to use browser solution.

Will xCloud come to iOS?
Microsoft, on the other hand, could still possibly choose to offer both of these solutions. After all, the said app could actually just be a web-wrapper but the whole substance is that the Cloud Gaming on the PC is reportedly moving forward at a certain rate that would allow Microsoft to somewhat meet its stated goal of a target release in spring.
With that being said, the upcoming iOS iteration of this particular service still does not appear to be quite far along in the whole testing phase as the PC, however, things could be quite complicated due to Apple's own store policies. The Xbox xCloud launch would allow Android as well as other users to stream games and with upcoming PC and iOS, Microsoft would reportedly be able to reach a wider audience. The news was also reported by Thurrott.
