"For All Mankind" which was originally featured in Apple TV+ now has a dedicated app powered by Augmented Reality. As Mac Rumors reports, the app is out now to be used by iPhone and iPad users in order to bring to life the gaps between season one and two of the show that was originally shown on Apple TV series. Even more than that, it brings the show into people's homes with a full Augmented Reality experience.
'For All Mankind: Time Capsule' App Shows the Mysteries in Between Seasons
In the show, the season 1 had closed on a 1974 setting. On the other hand, the season two started in 1983. The goal of the app is to show users what has happened along the course of events between the two seasons. Apple notes that the AR experience in "For All Mankind" will bring to life the moments in between the two seasons that showcase the lives of the all-time favorite characters, the Astronauts Tracy Stevens and Gordo song with their son Danny Stevens.
According to News 18, the app will showcase interactive snippets of the details about the turn of events in the life of the main character Stevens in the show. It will show everything from household memories like family photos, mixtape, vintage items, as well as an Apple II computer. The interesting thing about the show is that it will come in 3D and augmented reality.

Ron Moore, the creator and executive producer of the Apple TV series "For All Mankind" said that the show's take on Augmented Reality will bring a fresh and exciting twist to the show which will take the storyline into the audience's homes. He notes that this new show will give something valuable that they have never done before for the fans. By immersing in the experience, the users themselves will be able to interact with the objects.

The app can be downloaded for free via App Store and is compatible on iPhones and iPads. It will be available primarily on a US-specific App store but is expected to arrive in more regions soon. The first episode of the second season of the upcoming app will launch globally on February 15.
