PS5 DualSense currently has an issue that can completely ruin your gaming experience. This next-gen controller is currently the only gaming device that has drift issues, which really spoils the fun when playing "Grand Theft Auto V," or other games that require players to make drifting actions when playing.
According to GameSpot's latest report, the new drift issue happens when the PS5 DualSense controller registers joystick movement without the player touching them. Right now, it is not yet confirmed how wide the current problem is.
But, owners are still asking Sony to get their defective PS5 controllers fixed. Those who are trying to get a refund or a replacement are put into long wait times. They are even charged extra shipping fees, which is really unreasonable.
Players post their DualSense drift issues online
As of the moment, many players are now posting their experiences online. Some of them are recording the glitches they experience when using their PS5 DualSense controllers. After that, they post it in their Facebook or Instagram stories so that other people know what is happening.
"The controller I had packaged with my PS5 had drift only a week in (I got it at launch) and it definitely did not wear and tear since I probably put in less than 10 hours at that point," said Lionhartwolf, one of the complainers, via GameFAQs.

"They said they would send me a box so I could send it in. I've been waiting just under 2 weeks though and still nothing," he added.
Lionhartwolf also revealed that the customer representative told him that he will not be charged a shipping fee. However, he said that the email he received still states that he is should pay for additional shipping charges.
How to fix the new drift issues
If you don't want to communicate the some of the manufacturer's unsure customer representatives, there are some ways you can try to fix your PS5 DualSense's issues.
Dot Esports suggested that if you are using thumb grips, then you better check them from time to time since they significantly degrade over time. This could make your controller's thumbsticks become sticky, making them stuck to the corner of your gadget's movement area.
Another thing you can do is to regularly clean your analog sticks. You will need to use a toothpick to remove any dust that is giving your analog sticks a hard time. On the other hand, you need to make sure that there is no obstacle that is blocking your PS5 and DualSense controller. Why? Because your controller uses a Bluetooth connection to link with the main PlayStation 5 body.
