Elon Musk's most peculiar company, the human-computer-interface company that is focusing on human to AI symbiosis in the future, Neuralink, is now off to a strong start. A recent bold move by Elon Musk had revealed that the company was able to implant one of their brain chips on a video game playing Monkey.

Elon Musk stated in a certain interview uploaded to YouTube that they have already gotten a monkey with the said wireless implant inside their skull, and all of the tiny wires, who can now play video games just by using his own mind. The statement was revealed on the Good Time Show on the particular app Clubhouse sometime Sunday night and was just reuploaded to YouTube.
According to the story by Business Insider, he then stated that one of the many things that they are still trying to figure out is if they can actually have the monkeys be able to play Pong along with each other. He then noted that if that were possible, it would be really cool. Neuralink has also been able to test their neural interfaces on other types of animals for a number of years back.
Neuralink tests on pig
In a certain video that was released just last year, Neuralink was able to demonstrate the company's work on a particular pig called Gertrude. In the shown video sometimes last year, Neuralink had demonstrated its main ability to record as well as try to predict certain actions that were based on a wired chip implant that was installed in Gertrude's brain.
Elon Musk, however, stated that the video-game-playing monkey was able to get a particular wireless chip that had enabled the monkey to control a particular electronic interface with the use of its own mind only. The billionaire then stated that he's not actually uncomfortable and that it does not look weird at all. It was even noted that people won't even be able to see just where the neural implant actually went in.

It was also noted that the wireless bit is still particularly important since it could actually eliminate the potential for other infections that come along with wires that are protruding from organic material. Elon Musk also recently noted that Neuralink is looking for people to join its growing team as the company aims to achieve both its short-term and long-term goals of aiding bodily functions and later on human-AI symbiosis.
Neuralink was met with mixed reviews when it was first publicly announced some time last year and as of the moment, the company also has a lot to prove when it comes to the positive work that they are doing. Just like Musk's many other companies, it might take awhile before they catch on and the public would finally recognize them as doing something truly extraordinary.
