Elon Musk has risen to the center of attention this 2021 as he has finally claimed the title of the richest man on Earth. Two of his most popular companies are both Tesla and SpaceX for being two remarkably powerful companies in their respective fields. What about Neuralink?
What is the purpose of Neuralink?
Neuralink is one of the up and coming focuses of Elon Musk aimed to provide "brain chips" that could boost neural performance and also function by helping certain people do things that their brain couldn't like walk again from being paralyzed and more. There are also a lot of other focuses of Neuralink that the billionaire himself is trying to promote.
In a retweet by Elon Musk of a post by Neuralink, the billionaire detailed both the short-term and the long-term plan with the company. The short-term plan was reportedly to be able to solve brain and/or spine injuries while the long-term plan was to be able to achieve human and AI symbiosis.

This seems like a huge goal for Neuralink since the company has yet to show the public any progress that it has previously made. As of the moment, Elon Musk seems to be focused on everything from outer space with SpaceX, electric cars with Tesla, and even tunnels with The Boring Company. Not to mention there's also SolarCity and Neuralink at the same time.
The post coming from Elon was to look for certain key individuals to work with them. As per his post, he urged these individuals to consider working alongside Neuralink while noting the short-term and long-term goals of Neuralink. It is also important to note that Elon Musk clarified that the long-term goal will be species-level important which could happen in the future.

Neuralink Jobs: Current Hiring
The billionaire then noted two of Neuralink's locations which interested applicants can work at. These are both the Bay Area and the Austin locations. The billionaire then specified what exactly he is looking for. Although he did not give a general type of degree or qualification, the billionaire noted what type of experience they would prefer.
Elon Musk then noted that his preference is for people that have worked on advanced wearables, robots, or phones. He then said that "those skills are needed" pointing out what Neuralink was looking for. There was also an email attached to the post by Neuralink which is where interested applicants can send their official inquiries and ask questions regarding how to join Neuralink and what else they would be requiring.
The post that was shared by Elon Musk included a link to a YouTube video titled Working on the Neuralink Robot which detailed the work they are doing with the company. The video then clarified that "advanced surgical automation" is technically the core to the company's complete approach.
