Don't you know that you can create an RTX 3080 mining rig using your car's trunk? This guy could be the first one to successfully pull it off. Simon Byrne, a popular and big-time miner, clearly made extra efforts to turn his BMW's trunk into a portable RTX 3080 mining rig.
He explained that his technology can go from zero up to 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds! According to Toms Hardware, the exact vehicle model he used is his BMW i8.
Byrne said that he gathered six RTX 3080 to create the mining rig. He said that he uses this new machine to create income when is not around from his massive 78 RTX 3080 mining farm. If you will look at it, his invention is really handy since he can make money by just driving around.
How did he make the RTX 3080 mining rig?
The big-time miner confirmed that his invention is the real deal since it is a legit system. He added that he made it himself and jokingly said that he did this to annoy gamers.

On the other hand, the inventor also explained how his new RTX 3080 mining rig works and how powerful it is. He said that the BMW i8 has more than enough power from its battery pack to power his new miniature RTX 3080 mining rig.
This model can reach up to 3500W from its main outlet and the GPU mining rig consumes 1500W. However, the creator said that he needs to open the trunk so that the GPUs would not overheat.
On the other hand, Byrne explained his opinion regarding cryptocurrencies.
"Cryptocurrency is open-sourced & decentralized. It's trustless, and there isn't interference from a third party. No one owns or controls it, and it does not have a governing body," explained the big-time miner via Toms Hardware.
What is a GPU mining rig?
Linux Hint explained that a GPU mining rig is a special computer that is specifically designed to mine cryptocurrencies using GPUs. A GPU mining rig is hard to distinguish from a regular computer since it looks like a regular PC. It has the same hardware components and even runs the same operating system.
However, if you see that there are many GPUs in the setup, then there's a high chance it is a GPU mining rig. It commonly uses around 6 or 8 GPUs at the same time.
