In what could have been already a fruitful event for all "Fortnite" players, Epic Games canceled the Winter Trials 2021 event after an accidental leak took place, with its website and landing page in-game completely taken down. Gamers were initially joyed with the event's arrival but their optimism was short-lived as it disappeared from the platform immediately.
The popular battle royal shooter game, "Fortnite," is known for starting and holding massive events for all of its players, and not canceling them after it launches occasion for gamers to enjoy. However, this time is different as it is not yet intended for the "Fortnite" Winter Trials event to take place, despite its landing pages and interface already setup with what would take place.

'Fortnite' Winter Trials: 'Accidental Leaks' Before Website Crashed
While gamers will not be able to enjoy the Winter Trials event as of the moment as participants, they ought to know what could have transpired in the leaked gaming special from "Fortnite." However, canceling this event does not mean that it would not come up anytime soon, as leaks and actual gamers have already experienced a working site for a moment.
According to popular and trusted Fortnite leaker, iFire Monkey (@iFireMonkey), there was a launch of the Winter Trials website from "Fortnite" themselves, allowing interactive voting system and social media shares. The site was said to have "tons of errors" such as having an end date of "31th" (which kind of looks like a typographical error) and have no description on the website.
The leaker assumed that Epic Games and "Fortnite" were just not ready for the event to launch, but somehow, it came up on the website and gave people an idea of what to expect. A cached version of the now unavailable website shows the voting system for the teams of influencers and daily challenges which are the features of this event.
Voting System for Tomorrow's Daily Challenge
Different challenges are available to do, and this would all be based on player preference and choice on what challenge to do for the day after. After the tally, Fortnite would set the challenge from the top voted. Choices Include:
- The Mercenary - "Players have to challenge and defeat as many named NPCs as they can"
- The Bounty Hunter - "Players have to complete as many bounties as they can"
- The Pacifist - "Players are not allowed to use weapons or damage other players in any way"
Streamer Team Voting System
There are also five streamers which Epic Games and "Fortnite" teamed up with, voting to be with them would put users in their team and support them as they also play the game and perform different challenges.
These influencers include Nate Hil, Nick Eh 30, SypherPK, EMadGG, and 72HRs.
Rewards after Completing Event Specials and Challenges
Users are also given sprays for Playing Fortnite for 20 mins., Voting a Challenge, and Supporting the Influencer team, and in turn, they unlock several in-game items such as sprays, emoticons, and a skin wrap.
