Elon Musk Would Stay in Mars Full Time if 'Civilization is Doing Great'—Work via Starlink Off-Planet by 2050!

Elon Musk is convinced that he would spend the rest of his life, or at least the latter part of it, on Mars by 2050 and work there full-time using the internet Starlink would provide if "civilization is doing great." The CEO has lately been expressing his plans and fascination towards the Red Planet, along with his willingness to be its first citizen and even its leader.

The Earth and its technology are still somehow far from bringing people to or from Mars, but the recent studies are aiming for the neighboring planet's possibility to be one of the travel destinations or relocation sites to live in. Humans are still 29 years away from 2050, and Elon Musk is far from living from Mars, but the CEO shows his intent and interest in the Red Planet.

NASA's Perseverance Mission is soon to make a landing this February 2021, continuing the work that was led by the Curiosity Rover for the first signs and investigation it could find on its stint in Mars.

2020 introduced to humans the concept of "work from home" because of the lockdown restrictions brought by 2019's coronavirus (COVID-19) which plagued the world with its life-threatening health risks and conditions. By 2050, Elon Musk claims that he would stay, live, and work on Mars if the Earth's civilization is doing great when he leaves it behind.

A tweet by Elon's World (@ElonsWorld) stated that by 2050, Elon Musk would be living on Mars, enjoying his days and still working remotely on his companies including Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, The Boring Co., etc. Here, the look into the future by his fan stated that all of his companies would be worth $10 trillion, controlled by "X" Industries.

Fascinated by the projection and future look, Elon Musk (@elonmusk) acknowledged the tweet saying that he would stay on Mars if the Earth's civilization is doing great by that time. However, the SpaceX and Starlink CEO said that inflation should be taken into account, and that factor could be a massive one in saying what the world's fate would be, come 2050.

Elon Musk Mars: SpaceX Starships Would Be Main Technology

Elon Musk has then expressed his fascination and intent to live on Mars over the past months, as his projects with NASA skyrocketed with the Commercial Crew Program that flew astronauts to the ISS via SpaceX. The prized Crew Dragon of the company is one of the most used private spacecraft is flying NASA's affairs, and certainly one of the world's top choice.

SpaceX's next-generation stainless steel spacecraft, the SN Starships with the SN8 and SN9, would be the intended rockets that would endure the grueling 8-month journey (or more) to soon come to the Red Planet. These spacecraft were made to last and take on the brutal travel towards Mars, and Elon Musk is surely testing its capabilities over the past weeks.
