Elon Musk is known to be a lot of people, the innovator, the entrepreneur, the intellectual, and of course, the memer. However, despite his many sides on Twitter, there is still a problem that the billionaire faces every once in a while and Tesla is now hiring a remote support staff to be able to handle the complaints directed at him on Twitter.
Elon Musk on social media
According to an article by CNBC, although the billionaire does his best in addressing the many complaints, it seems like customer support isn't really something he is good at. This could be the reason behind the company's decision to hire a remote staff responsible for this as well as a number of other duties namely to handle the complaints that people tweet at him.
Among the number of job responsibilities of their ideal Tesla Energy Support Specialists are to be able to resolve or redirect certain grievances when needed and to also address the social media escalations that are directed at the Tesla CEO with good critical thinking. The company had previously ditched its PR department just last year and the said support specialists are currently the front line and the face of Tesla's branding according to the official job posting.
Elon Musk Twitter
The story reported by Engadget stated that Musk is known to have a long history of seemingly responding to certain customer questions and complaints over his Twitter. Although this can be looked to as quite admirable for the busy Tesla CEO who takes time in order to address consumer concerns directly, there are times that, according to the article, he puts "his foot in his mouth" over Twitter.
Whether the upcoming support specialists will be able to squash Elon Musk's edgelord tendencies or even prevent him from his memes on Twitter that sometimes lands the CEO in hot water along with regulators still remains to be seen. However, one thing is expected and that is that the support specialist will be able to help Elon Musk navigate through the many inquiries that instead of being directed at Tesla but at Elon Musk.
Is Elon Musk the richest man in the world?
As of the moment, Elon Musk remains the richest man in the world, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, with close calls to Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon. Although his net worth fluctuates sometimes dropping him to the second place, it is now seen that Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos now dominate the first and second spot as the world's richest person in the world. With the increasing popularity of Elon Musk and the expansions of his many companies, it is understandable that the CEO might not have enough time to address the many complaints on Twitter.
