Capcom is currently giving out a free "Resident Evil Village" avatar available on the PlayStation Store for both the PS4 and PS5 users. After only recently announcing the upcoming and exciting "Resident Evil showcase, Capcom has decided that users should get a free avatar on the players PlayStation Store for both the PS5 and PS4 that can be downloaded with a simple redemption code.

According to an article by Screen Rant, the upcoming "Resident Evil" showcase is expected to go live this January 21 on Thursday along with What's Good Games' very own Brittany Brombacher currently set to host the upcoming digital event. Capcom is expected to unveil a brand new trailer as well as showing off the very first-look gameplay of the upcoming "Resident Evil Village".
The publisher is also expected to throw out a number of other surprises that are in store for next week's online showcase as well. In celebration of the popular horror franchise's 25 anniversary, Capcom is said to run a closed beta testing for the unannounced "Resident Evil" which is a multiplayer game. It is also expected to receive more details during the event. Fans will be given the opportunity to sign up for a chance that they can join the beta by simply registering on the "Resident Evil" website.

There's also reportedly a number of other surprises that Capcom is rolling out. For an unknown time frame, PS5 and PS4 users will be able to log into the official PlayStation Store in order to receive a free avatar of a particular enigmatic vampire lady. The code was found on Reddit and since it is unlimited, just about anyone with their own PSN account will be able to simply sign in and grab their own avatar for personal use. There is still no official deadline to when the code can be used which is why gamers will have to move fast as it might suddenly disappear.

'Resident Evil' announcement
Nobody currently knows what the unannounced upcoming "Resident Evil" multiplayer experience will bring gamers. Capcom's last exploration of the whole online multiplayer came with a previous series in the form of the "Resident Evil Resistance" game which was a certain mode that was bundled with the "Resident Evil 3" remake of last year.
To please a lot of fans, "Resident Evil" has also enjoyed resurgence within the last few years. Its main return to the forefront started with 2017's launch of the "Resident Evil 7".
