The popular electric vehicle manufacturer and clean energy company, Tesla, was brewing something that provides a great use for clean home options and improving electricity consumption using the other products that debuted earlier. Tesla's Solar Inverter was recently unveiled by the company and is already seeing a massive buzz for the many features it would bring.

According to Tesla, the latest Solar Inverter completes the company's smart home system that transforms direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) from solar power or other energy connections which one has. The key features of the Solar Inverter are that it can be connected to any solar roof or panel system, and still offer the safe energy options it offers.

What is a Solar Inverter?
A power inverter is a device that transforms the direct current to alternating current from power sources to be distributed throughout the house that requires power. The devices include lighting, sockets, and all electrical equipment or appliances that are present in the house.
Tesla's Solar Inverter focuses on solar power's output to be collected and distributed for home use.

Tesla's Key Features for the device is it completes the company's clean energy home options including the Powerwall 2 and Solar Roof tiles, which is a venture by the company since 2016's acquisition of SolarCity. The Solar Inverter has two models, including the 3.8 kW and 7.6 kW models which differ in function and output.
Moreover, the Tesla Solar Inverter can connect to the internet via Ethernet cables and wireless cellular or WiFi options for updates and configurations. It can also connect to the Tesla app for home use, also connecting to the Powerwall.
The Solar Inverter has a warranty for an extended period of 12.5 years, safety features which include rapid shutdown, arc fault and ground fault protection, and a size of 26" x 16" x 6' (or 660mm x 411mm x 158mm).

To switch to Tesla's Solar Inverter, users would need to contact the company for changing their existing inverters. The company created the Solar Inverter to pair best with its solar products because of reports that other inverters do not work well in its products.
The release date and price were not disclosed by Tesla, but the Solar Inverter is already available from Tesla via preorders from the company. Getting in touch with Tesla would guarantee one a schedule for installation and device availability.
