"Rust" may have not expected a surge of gamers in its servers, and the number of people who would tune in to the Twitch streams and join the drops from popular game streamers on its platform. Several users share the same problem and have been helping each other for a fix in the system, or how to receive the drops in their Steam inventories.

'Rust Twitch Drops: How to Fix According to a Redditor

According to u/jonteem, one way to receive the "Rust" Twitch drops is to check one's trade offers in the game. The Redditor's fix suggests that users should not rely on the inventories or for the items to drop on the inventory as the game might send it via a Trade Offer, which needs to be accepted personally.

Going to the Trade History in the Steam app would lead users to the Trade Offer page, where they can check if the drop was indeed given or rewarded to the player.

Another user u/Fahrkry said that people should double-check their Twitch and Steam account, whether user accounts are already linked to for the drop to appear and work. This problem is a common mistake, especially when the hype or excitement takes over and not all necessary preparations for redeeming the drop have been observed.

'Rust': Twitch Drops Was Fixed Says Developers
