Asus is one of the tech giant companies that participated in the latest CES 2021. The giant screen manufacturer unveiled its latest HDMI 2.1 monitor, claiming it to be the best partner for the latest PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
However, the company didn't specify the product's price. The new Asus ROG Swift PG32UG is expected to hit the market in March. it is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, allowing players to connect their Xbox Series X and PS5.
The new monitor also supports a 4K resolution at 120hz, enhancing the gamers' experience. Aside from this, the latest screen also features a 32-inch IPS panel. This means that the new Asus ROG Swift PG32UG can provide impressive color accuracy, a pleasing contrast ratio, and great viewing angles.
Asus ROG Swift PG32UG's other specs
Aside from the 4K resolution, the latest Asus ROG Swift PG32UG also supports G-Sync compatibility through FreeSync. As of the moment, PS5 still doesn't have the ability to take advantage of the monitor's variable refresh rates.

On the other hand, this display makes a great partner for Xbox Series X since the console now supports it, allowing the monitor to eliminate screen judder and tearing.
Although Asus' new display offers impressive HDR support, it is still using the DisplayHDR 600. According to TechRadar's latest report, this means that the Asus ROG Swift PG32UG can't provide impressive specular highlights that are offered by other HDR screens today.
However, Asus confirmed that the new monitor is still properly designed for gaming since it features a DisplayPort 1.4. The new screen can also reach a 144Hz refresh rate. But, this is only possible if the user's graphics card can handle the high refresh rate.

Since PS5 can't take full advantage of the latest Asus ROG Swift PG32UG, here are other gaming monitors for the popular console. DotEsports explained that Sony made drastic changes and improvements in its PS5 compared to the product's predecessor.
