Parler is backing away from the fight after the recent heat it took from technology giants Amazon, Apple, and Google, following its application store bans and statement that caused multiple vendors to drop its support. The CEO's statement and post showed his heartbreaking statement regarding social media's temporary shutdown after all its issues.

Once called the "free speech of the internet," Parler now backs away from all of its operations, which caused its servers to shut down and turn away from the company. Despite the many users of the platform, it is now seeing a service down after everything the social media has faced from significant entities that called for their ban in the recent events.

John Matze, Parler's CEO, has conceded with its fight against Apple, Amazon, and Google, with the recent statements that erupted, calling for the shut down of Parler and heed of the call to cease operations. Initially, Parler was fighting against these technology giants and their call to shut off the social media platform, with Parler suing Amazon due to its removal from AWS (Amazon Web Services).

According to a screenshot posted by popular book author Don Winslow (@donwinslow), John Matze posted a farewell statement in Parler before it officially turned its services off. The post was forwarded to different groups in Parler, reaching out to most of its users and followers that patronized the use of the social media platform.

The tweet showed the screenshot of John Matze's final words to the "free speech of the internet" that gained popularity over the past months, particularly after the Facebook and Twitter boycott for censorship. The large social media platforms were looking at a boycott for the past years, and Parler has been there to pick up the people who left.

Matze then explained that after Amazon, Apple, and Google's statement, it affected their services and relationships with its "vendors," effectively rendering the platform unable to continue its operations for the time being. The CEO said that "Parler is my final stand on the internet," saying that its loss would leave him out of online social media websites.

According to Mashable, the CEO may have bid farewell on his statement but Matze said that it would only be temporary for the social media, as they plan to come back sometime in the future. While John Matze did not mention any exact date for their return or the period that Parler would cease operations, the CEO's statement says a lot.

Despite the bittersweet farewell of the CEO that promises its return, Parler would not be coming any time soon, especially after the heat it received and is currently in after everything that has transpired. The free social media's leave would be "longer than expected" as it would need to rebuild its platform again, and regain the vendors and investors it initially lost.
