A few days into January and we've just got some wild Nintendo gossipy tidbits coursing on the web. While none of these are confirmed by Nintendo's official website, it is also worth noting, especially coming from a well-known dataminer and console hacker.
As indicated by an article over on Wccftech about the new Nintedno Switch is coming from a notable dataminer, support programmer, and console hacker SciresM with 38.3k followers on Twitter. The programmer has revealed "new data" about the reputed Switch Pro model by filtering through firmware code. In spite of the fact that the source says these subtleties may not really be precise and there is a reasonable cycle of theory, many users are believing that these may actually be very feasible.
Nintendo Life says that the amended framework could be codenamed "Aula" and use a Mariko SoC. Also, it's trusted it will highlight both docked and handheld play, 4K help somehow or another or structure and might actually incorporate an OLED screen. The Realtek chip may likewise be in the dock, instead of the framework.
The Nintendo Switch Pro Leak Explained in Detail Via Gaming Forum
A Gaming forum called Resetera has been the haven of leaked information regarding Nintendo Switch Pro, with the Dataminer SciresM as the master.
In describing the hardware and the display, the source says, "Nintendo actually is working on a new model with upgraded display stuff and has been for 1.5-2 years. I personally believe it's 4K given the signs I'm seeing in the firmware, but that's not confirmed yet and could be wrong..The new hardware is codenamed Aula, it's using a Mariko SoC. "
He highlights that it is unsure whether the upgraded display is 4K or not. Furthermore, he talks about the firmware support and chip and why it's probably a 4k.
"Aula has firmware support some Realtek chip that advertises itself as a 4K UHD multimedia SoC, too, hence my belief it's 4K. That chip might be inside a new dock and not inside the tablet, though, there's no way to tell from the firmware code yet."
He says that Aula intentionally supports handheld mode. "It is not docked only; that's calcio, which seems like it's for internal only/never releasing since Calcio has no gamecard slot and no battery. You can check boot sysmodule display code if you're curious. The new display doesn't support power management pwm, it has its own vendor specific bs I had to reverse engineer and implement a month or two ago."
Take the Nintendo Switch Pro Rumor with a 'Grain of Salt'
Again, the source reiterates that he is just trying to speculate what could probably happen with the Pro Model. "My best guess (pure speculation, no firmware indication this is the case) is that if they need extra performance, they'll push it to higher clock rates across the board. We're in the realm of speculation. Aula has new GPIO that redbox doesn't related to support for this, so I would tentatively guess that redbox units won't support the new thing," he adds.
In guessing about probable games, he speculated that the games will be like "DSi enhanced" similar to the ones from PS4 Pro despite working on PS4.
Many rumors have been spreading online about the new Nintendo Revisions. However, it's best to take it all easy as Nintendo can probably switch to a more ambigious route anytime.
