EA Sports has just recently released a series of changes of next gen "Madden 21", providing new features and series to the original mode. GamePur notes that despite them stating that no major changes would happen in the game until the next installment, huge shifts have occurred in the newest "Madden 21" update. Moreover, reports also show that more Franchise-centric updates will occur in March.
'Madden 21' Franchise Updates Improve Usability and Fine Tuning
According to EA Sports publisher Gridiron notes, this franchise update has been a result of the collaboration of ideas by Franchise community members in order to improve the usability of core users of the mode and in order to tune more efficient upgrades for the players of the game. According to the post, this franchise update belongs to the first batch of cycles, while another one is targeted to arrive in Mid-January.
The changes in the latest franchise update includes personnel logic improvements, team override settings, undoing FA signings for off season, as well as commissioner draft tools.
However, the first thing that users will spot in line with these current updates is the increased draft logic. This is to ensure that quarterbacks will not always be taken by the CPU-controlled teams. The logic is that most CPU-controlled teams do not need the quarterbacks.
For years, "Madden NFL" has made a platform called Madden Voice for users to report their feedback on the game. One of the most apparent complaints by the users is the distracting Assist options. Now the new update finally features a response to this request. Players now have the option to turn off assist options such as the Switch, Ball Hawk, and Seeker anytime that they want in the game mode.
Another change that comes with the patch also includes new settings that the league creators have crafted in order to restrict the options of the X-Factors in the game. The number of time users that have the ability to call a specific play in the game is also restricted due to the recent changes. On top of it, they will also be given the capacity to block any one free agent that has signed during the offseason of the game.
Franchise Update Changes for March
EA Sports' publisher also gives users hints of what changes can happen during March. Another patch for the mode set during the second phase of the change will give players a supply of rebalanced player trading systems which will be shown on the final update. It will also introduce along with it a "Franchise League History" page. The page will allow the players to check and take a glance at Super Bowl and individual award winners with each year of their franchise.
Looking back at the changes that "Madden 21" has made for their franchise updates, this latest update seems to be getting a lot of attention by users. Most players welcome the recent changes. Although some old features from the cult classic mode could still be helpful in the predicted changes that may occur in the future.
