So far, LG has not changed the Gram series' signature features. The LG Gram laptops are known for being very light, which is why it is named "Gram".
The Gram 17 only weighs at around 2.98 pounds, which is the same weight as its predecessor. It is also highly unusual to see a 17-inch laptop under three pounds, and using one can really change the way that you feel about laptops because it will make you think you are carrying nothing when in fact, you are holding the 2020 model, as most people expect it to be much heavier due to its features.

Meanwhile, the Gram 16 weighs only 2.62 pounds, while the Gram 14 weighs only 2.2 pounds.
Another notable feature of the 2020 Gram 17, which has carried over to the 2021 Gram model, was the 16:10 display. The display offers more vertical space than the traditional 16:9 panel.
Aside from that, LG stated that the new clamshell models of the laptops have a new four-sided slim bezel design, which achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 90%. As is evident from the pictures that LG provided as a teaser for its upcoming new Gram laptops, the bezels look very small, which gives the whole aesthetic a nice, modern look.
LG had also declared that the keyboard and the touchpad have been enlarged for the user's comfort and for efficiency.
LG Gram Intel processor and battery life
Despite all the beautiful adjustments on the Gram laptop's exterior, the most significant upgrades are inside. All of the new Gram laptops have Intel's 11th-Gen Core processors installed. They also come with Iris Xe graphics or UHD graphics.
All of the laptop models are also certified through the Evo program of Intel. The Evo program is an Intel badge that is meant to certify that the laptop can get at around 9 hours of battery life. It is also to certify that it can wake from sleep fast and other much-needed features.
LG claims that you could see up to 19.5 hours of battery life from Gram 17, Gram 16 and from Gram 16 2-in-1. That is a claim that most people are skeptical of unless they get the laptop themselves, but based on critics and users, the LG 2020 Gram 17 had one of the longest battery life from the series of laptops that were released last year.
The battery life of the LG 2020 Gram 17 lasted for around 10 hours. It is safe to say that if the 2021 Gram series is described to last for 19 hours, it will deliver, according to PocketNow.
Jang Ik-hwan, LG senior vice president and the head of LG's IT business unit, said in a statement that synonymous with portability and first-class performance, the LG Gram series continues to raise the bar for the lightweight and slim laptop market.
The LG Gram laptops have sleeker, more refined designs with 16:10 aspect radio displays and it can maintain their light weight. The laptop can give consumers the ability to enjoy better productivity and more immersive viewing experiences.
