RPG players are highly anticipating the release of "Genshin Impact's" update 1.3, but if you ask miHoYo, the game's developer, all they can vaguely say is that the update will be coming sometime in February 2021.
When Will 'Genshin Impact' Version 1.3 Launch?
However, Inverse did a little math based on miHoYo's update pattern.
According to them, the next "Genshin Impact" banner will officially begin on January 12, 2021, and based on miHoYo's previous banners, they typically last 20 days, so if we're to assume that Ganyu's banner, which is the next on the list, will also last 20 days, it will end by February 1, which should then followed by update 1.3.
With that, it's highly possible that the next banner and "Genshin Impact" update 1.3 will come on February 1, but of course, it's still a guess and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
As of writing, the developers are still focusing on 1.2 and Ganyu's banner, so we won't see some promotional videos and images for 1.3.
Still, many are excited, especially as it will include Xiao, an Anemo Adepti and defender of Liyue, and according to rumors, Hu Tao, a Pyro Polearm user.
Nevertheless, Hu Tao has not been confirmed, so as of now, all eyes are on Xiao, who will be the five-star pull for version 1.3.
Xiao's Skills and Burst
According to GameWith, "Genshin Impact's" official Japanese Twitter account has posted a series of clips back in April of 2020 that featured Xiao, and based on the clips, he can be seen wielding a polearm and dealing wide range Anemo damage to enemies.
Xiao's normal attack allows him to hit enemies up to six times consecutively, then he can use his skills to thrust forward and deal Elemental damage to any enemies facing him, making him a great offensive character.
As for his burst, the guide says it would make his movements wider, dealing bigger damage, plus expect his plunge attack to deal wider AOE Anemo damage.
However, as per ScreenRant, Xiao's health will deplete the entire time you're using his burst ability, so be sure you remember that when using him and choosing the best build.
Best Build for Xiao
Speaking of build, you'll want to use Artifacts and weapons that can help boost the character's attack and damage, since he's practically created for damage, meaning you'll want to use one of "Genshin Impact" sets built for DPS characters like Xiao: the Gladiator's Finale set.
The Gladiator's Finale set can raise Xiao's ATK by 18% if two pieces are combined, and if four pieces are combined, his Normal Attack DMG will increase by 35%
When it comes to the best weapon, the 5-star polearm, Primordial Jade Winged-Spear is the best choice as it can increase the user's attack speed by 6% and stack up seven times, enabling you to deal more damage than usual.
Once the stack fills up, Skill DMG will increase by 28%.
With all of that, every "Genshin Impact" player would most likely want to get the 5-star character, but you'll need lady luck by your side.
