According to IGN, Although it has the same 3D shape and crunch, the new launch debuts a new wave of bold and hot flavors, namely, Chili Cheese Nacho and Spicy Ranch. Although new, fans have obviously accepted it with open arms. Now, the products are available for pre-order and are selling super fast!
New Bold and Hot Flavors a Huge Hit for Doritos
Accoriding to Frito-Lay, the Amercian subsidiary of Pepsico, the new set of flavors have been a huge hit in their market and is well-received by snack enthusiasts. Due to its high demand, it's also available for pre-order on Ebay and Amazon. Frito-Lay also sells other food brands such as Fritos, Cheetos, Lay's, Ruffles, Walkers, and Rold Gold Pretzels, among others. It is only until recently that the corporation decided to relaunch Doritos by bringing back the nostalgic Doritos 3D. It seems that their launch is making its way to the hearts of the new generation.

According to PepsiCo, the Doritos 3D relaunch happened as a response to a huge wave of online petitions and social media buzz to bring back Doritos 3D. Back in 1998, Doritos 3D has been released and has made a huge name of snack enthusiasts. However, the brand decided to discontinue it after many years. Reasons as to why the Doritos 3D has been discontinued was never disclosed.
To bring back nostalgic memories of the original Doritos 3D, the brand brought back the original "Doritos girl" actredd Ali Landry to promote and launch a nationwide Doritos 3D challenge. Back then, she had an iconic commercial in 1998 for Doritos 3D. Landry encourages the fans to look for the boldest, most unique and creative ways to catch the Doritos 3D in their mouths. She also encourages them to check and tag #Doritos3DChallenge on Tiktok.

According to PR Newswire, Doritos 3D held a press release featuring Rachel Ferdinando, SVP and CMO, Frito-Lay North America. In the said interview, Ferdinando said, "Doritos 3D Crunch is one of our most anticipated product launches ever. What's exciting is that we didn't just bring back the original - we've evolved it to reflect the snacking trends of a new generation. We're thrilled to introduce a new version at a time when we all could use a small moment of joy."
Now, you can now pre-order your Doritos 3D Spicy Ranch and Chili Cheese Nacho in 6-ounce bags for a suggested retail price of $4.29 and 2-ounce bags for $1.89.
