The next-generation console, both the Xbox Series X as well as the Xbox Series S have finally been on the market ever since November. However, quite like the PS5 stock available, they are also very hard to find. There have been a lot of frustrated gamers jumping from one site to another in search of Microsoft's new console. A number of these gamers, frustratingly, still come empty-handed.

This has resulted in scalpers buying a bulk of the PS5 and Xbox Series X and selling them for much higher prices over on eBay and other online platforms. eBay isn't the only online platform that has reportedly seen these overpriced consoles but also a number of other online platforms as well.
According to an article by PCMag, it is now quite clear that Microsoft is facing some difficulties regarding meeting the massive demand for its new consoles. However, the VP of Gaming at Microsoft, Phil Spencer, says that there might just be light shining at the end of a very long tunnel.

During the recent appearance on Xbox Live, the director of programming known as Larry Hryb's video podcast, Spencer had stated that Microsoft is now getting the help of AMD for them to be able to meet the punishing demand, according to the report by TechRadar. AMD is now responsible for manufacturing the console's very own GPU as well as CPU.
According to Spencer regarding the systems in production, the company is not holding them back as they are reportedly trying to build these consoles as quickly as they possibly can. It was stated that they currently already have assembly lines that are going on. It was also stated that Spencer was actually on the phone some time last week along with Lissa Su of AMD asking them how to get more. This was then affirmed by Spencer as something that they are working on.

Microsoft works with AMD
Spencer, however, did not quite elaborate as to what kind of assistance they would be getting from AMD, other than the company helping them ramp up the total production of the next generation console. In response to the fans' frustration, Spencer then stated that it is now down to both physics and engineering.
Spencer then acknowledged that in addition to their competitor, Sony's PlayStation 5 supply problems, there are basically just a number of interesting games that are out there as of the moment. Unfortunately, there is still no specific date that gamers can mark for them to be able to get new Xbox Series X available stock. It was stated in the article by PCMag that gamers might have to wait all the way up to April of 2021.
This shortage, however, could not last quite long if AMD is able to keep up with the demand and significantly boost the production of Microsoft's next generation consoles, the Xbox Series X. This move might be microsoft's hope to be able to supply the customer demand.
