"Fallout: New Vegas" is generally regarded as one of the best game entries of the entire Fallout series. Although it can be quite dated, considering it had first gone out a whole decade ago back in 2010. The free driving mod is now breathing a whole new air of enjoyment to what some gamers would refer to as a "classic game".

Driving Mod: How can I make 'Fallout: New Vegas' run better?

According to an article by PCMag, "Fallout: New Vegas" - The Frontier is known as a massive mod that will soon allow players to get a little more complex but also a much more realistic driving system. This is reportedly something that players have been asking ever since the games' official release back 10 years ago. Currently, the release date is set some time early 2021.

The original story by PCGamesN reports that the new driving system will allow players to not only traverse the entire wasteland much quicker, but will now "mow down" the enemies who just so happen to get in the way. Driving will reportedly play quite a critical role with the new mod. The team itself has expressed its pride in creating a road as well as a driving system that is pretty close to what the official Bethesda developers could do.

'Fallout: New Vegas' Script Extender

According to the dev team's statement on the official The Frontier page, this is now the closest thing that players will ever reportedly get to a decent and proper driving system outside of the more low-level integrations coming from Bethesda themselves.

The statement not only introduces the new mod's supposedly excellent driving system but also a wealth of brand new content that it is paired with. Players will reportedly be able to cinokete three different new quest lines along with a whole 50 extra side quests. There are also reportedly new boss battles that are said to bulk up the game and even the ground and the air combat splice to give the game a bit more variety.

'Fallout NV' Perk Mods

The Frontier is reportedly expected to come to "Fallout: New Vegas" on January 15, 2021. This leaves a decent amount of time for those that have yet to complete the original game New Vegas. This also seems like a particular mod that is best left for it to complete even after the game's original story. Now, racing across the whole wasteland won't technically seem like quite a heady task.

With the recent burst of the "Cyberpunk 2077" game that has reportedly done very poorly on its earlier console versions that even Sony themselves had to stop selling the game, it seems like other classic games can once again compete for attention as gamers are scrambling for a new game to play. The official Sony website announced this quite a while not giving specifics except "until further notice." Although a bit dated, Fallout: New Vegas with its upcoming The Frontier might be the perfect game to play especially during this awkward time.
