Uncle Roger is at it again reviewing videos on YouTube but instead of his normal critization of how people cook egg fried rice, he is now reacting to a 28 days MSG dry aged steak! The eccentric Uncle Roger makes yet another video portraying the typical Asian uncle and how he would react to MSG dry aged steak.

Uncle Roger loves MSG

For those who have followed Uncle Roger, he has been repetitively mentioning his love for MSG which is an Asian spice that supposedly adds the umami flavor to the food. This particular ingredient is very popular when it comes to Asian recipes and for those that have eaten in authentic Asian restaurants, it is most likely that they have tasted the umami flavor.

Uncle Roger first got popular for roasting famous chefs on his YouTube channel starting with a BBC chef who supposedly messed up when cooking the rice. The Asian Uncle reacted to almost everything that the BBC cook did since it was not done in an authentic Asian way. The biggest highlight of the video is when the BBC chef used a colander and washed the rice right after cooking it.

Uncle Roger reacts to Jamie Oliver

Another massive review that Uncle Roger did was on Jamie Oliver's egg fried rice which seemed far from the actual Chinese recipe due to the choices of ingredients like using olive oil instead of vegetable oil and chili jam instead of at least sriracha. This video had made Uncle Roger even more popular than he already was.

The new video shows Uncle Roger reviewing a video of a 28 days MSG dry aged steak. One of the most memorable comments that the comedian made was how empty the fridge was. He then stated that the person in the video's wife probably left him. He then said that when you are single, the advantage is having more storage.

Uncle Roger explains knives

Ironically, he then commented about the mid-video ad when he himself started off the video with a video ad for a VPN. Coincidentally, the ad was about knives and the ad suggested that this was a good gift to give friends and family. Uncle Roger then revealed that it is a very bad gift because in Asian culture, giving a knife to someone would symbolize wanting to cut off a relationship with them.

The video finally ended with a taste test wherein Guga Foods, the video under review by Uncle Roger, tried out the steaks. Uncle Roger approved the video and labeled it as a more pleasant video that he reviewed in comparison to the hard-to-handle videos of people messing up cooking egg fried rice and other Asian recipes. The video then ended with Uncle Roger, once again, showing his true voice and distinguishing himself behind the persona once again.
