Google users in multiple areas around the globe experience outage in using Google services like Gmail, YouTube, Gmail, Google Docs, Maps, Adwords and Adsense, and Google Pay and Google Assistant. The widespread outage is not yet acknowledged by Google as their status does not indicate a report about any issue yet.
DownDetector indicates that the crash started at around 6:40AM ET, affecting both personal and business accounts in many countries inlcuding the US, UK, Netherlands, Canada, India, Japan, South Africa, Central and South America, Australia, and more.
On Twitter, the hastag "#YouTubeDOWN" is trending as more people express their frustration of not being able to watch videos, access Gmail and other Google services.
Meanwhile, the search engine Google.com and Google Chrome are still working, TechCrunch noted.
With Google services down, it affects the viewers on YouTube and people who use Google Workspace for their work. Gadgets with Google Assistant installed are also affected by this issue.
