The long-awaited "Cyberpunk 2077" is finally here and while there is definitely the talk of the town, the console version is reportedly receiving mostly negative scores from users. The scores confirmed earlier concerns regarding certain technical glitches that have been appearing while the game is run through certain less powerful platforms.
'Cyberpunk 2077' review scores
An article by Bloomberg notes that CD Projekt SA's new game, which is a futuristic role-playing game has now only gathered a rating of just an average of 2.1 out of 10 at a particular review aggregator website known as Metacritic by a whopping 2,161 players. These numbers were brought in by players who reportedly tried to play the video game through Sony's previous PlayStation 4.
Microsoft's very own Xbox One version has given this game a score of just 2.6 based on the 732 users that have reportedly tried this game on the console. The official combined scores coming from certain journalists' reviews have not been made available as of the moment.
'Cyberpunk' review PS4
Right before its long-awaited release after months of delays, the "Cyberpunk 2077" launched on December 10 and has gotten an average score of a whopping 91 out of 100 from official journalists based on the PC version of this game. "Cyberpunk 2077" was reportedly praised for its very own ambitious but promising open-world that had quite a reportedly compelling storytelling.
Despite the 91 out of 100 score that was given, reporters have still reported a number of different technical bugs. Reviews made by regular gamers ever since the previous launch have reportedly been more critical giving the PC version of "Cyberpunk 2077" a score of 6.3 out of 10.

CD Projekt Red 'Cyberpunk 2077'
The mixed reviews about the game have reportedly pushed the shares in the known Polish gaming studio down by a whopping 28% this current week. This was reported to be the biggest drop that the gaming studio has experienced in almost 10 years. This was even after the pre-order sales have shown to be pretty strong.
Analysts have stated the opinions of certain gamers using much older consoles to still be critical for the studio's own revenue. CD Projekt Red had reportedly delayed the official release of the game in order to ensure that "Cyberpunk 2077" will run smoothly on the much older consoles that have comprised a chunk of the market ever since 2013.
Although the bugs have been quite a bother for most gamers, true fans of the game are waiting for new updates in order for the current bugs to be fixed. "Cyberpunk 2077" has recently launched a few new updates but as of the moment, the game still reports a number of bugs which are still reportedly a big problem. The compatibility of the game with older consoles is also reportedly a problem which has brought the game a low rating on certain aggregator websites. The official ratings for the console version of the games has yet to be released.
