The Game Awards 2020 ALL Winners: Live Results Updateโ€” 'The Last of Us Part II,' 'Animal Crossing: NH,' and MORE in the List!

The Game Awards 2020 are wrapping up the best video games of the year from several of the largest developers and starting indie creators globally with the pandemic edition for the list as one of the most massive industry presents. Giving back to these games that have accompanied the public during these public times truly is a well-deserved platform for recognition.

Early winners have already surfaced, with Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us Part II" bagging the Best Action Adventure and Best Narrative. Previously, "The Last of Us Part II" bagged Ultimate Year of the Game in The Golden Joystick Awards, giving Naughty Dog plenty more awards like Best Audio, Storytelling, and more.

Best Score and Music in a Video Game goes to Square Enix's "Final Fantasy VII" Remake of 2020, one of the most favorite games of the year. The remake was long-awaited, despite having its XIV or fourteenth release today.

Best Ongoing Game was awarded to Hello Games' "No Man's Sky," a 2016 survival game that receives high praises now. The game is still continuously developed by its creators and updated. Steam user ratings give "No Man's Sky" a 6 out of 10 stars.

Games for Impact Award, presented by "Wonder Woman" Gal Gadot, is awarded to DONTNOD Entertainment's "Tell Me Why," a narrative adventure game for the Xbox platform.

Nintendo Switch's most popular simulation game, "Animal Crossing: New Horizons," bagged The Best Family Game of 2020, with its kid-friendly content that promotes island care. "Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout" bags the award for Best Community Support in a game.

On the other hand, "Phasmaphobia" takes home The Best Debut Game of 2020, beating other nominees with its Horror-centric genre, which became a massive hit this year.

A classic Nintendo 64 Game remake, "Perfect Dark," also debuts The Game Awards 2020, with its impressive run for the Microsoft Xbox console. Epic Games' "Warframe" also releases today, on the awards night. Other new games, including Valve Corporation's "Back 4 Blood" from the "Left 4 Dead" series, would release by June 22, 2021.
