Elon Musk's SpaceX has achieved great lengths this 2020, with NASA's Crew-1 Dragon's spacecraft of choice towards the ISS, and a successful launch of the updated Cargo Dragon 2 resupply the space station. However, that is not all that Musk and his company have done this year as numerous innovations keep on rolling out from SpaceX.
The famous aerospace manufacturer and space technologies company, SpaceX, is one of the most known names in the space industry this 2020. It became NASA's choice for its Commercial Crew Program, which launched this year. Last November, the first launch happened with the Crew-1 Dragon "Resilience" safely reaching the International Space Station.
The successful launch is celebrated by both the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and SpaceX. It is currently awaiting its arrival on the International Space Station by December 7 at 1:30 pm (EST). The latest release of the Cargo Dragon 2 was accompanied by SpaceX's mighty Falcon 9 Rocket Launcher, which detached itself and returned to the ground via an awaiting droneship for its return maneuver.
Recently, Elon Musk was awarded by Germany's Axel Springer media for SpaceX's outstanding performance this year. This award also recognizes his other companies with the likes of Tesla and The Boring Company. Musk also thanked everyone in SpaceX in a recent tweet for his recognition in the media awards.
Elon Musk's companies' innovations are continuously growing, particularly with SpaceX's future ventures with NASA. The eccentric billionaire CEO also hinted at the possibility of the venture to Mars in the coming 4 to 6 years, with SpaceX establishing dome-like structures like homes and buildings.

The eccentric CEO is known for his outrageous plans and announcements, which he usually relays via his official Twitter account. Musk's companies are all part of his online reports, which recently received high praises and recognition from various organizations with NASA and the German media.
Cargo Dragon 2
The updated cargo ship from SpaceX brought several technologies, supplies, needs, and food for the seven astronauts who currently resides in the International Space Station. The resupply mission came less than a month after the initial launch of the Crew-1 Dragon led by Commander Michael Hopkins.
Falcon 9
The rocket booster is notable for its 100th successful launch, after 101 total flights with one misfire. Other companies and space agencies also utilize the development of the popular rocket booster over the past months.
Starship SN8
One of SpaceX's most famous innovations for this year is the highly-trending Stainless Steel rocket ship, the Starship SN8. The renowned rocket ship would soon be used for SpaceX's future Moon missions in the coming two years, and the Mars mission in four to six years.
SN8 features all the best technology SpaceX has to offer, continuously improving and under flight testing. Elon Musk would soon announce the live stream of the SN8's first flight via Twitter.
