"Demon's Souls" is one of the most popular horrors/adventure game right now. Its remake attracted new and old players ever since it was launched on Nov. 12.
Right now, the game can be played on the latest PlayStation 5 console. The popular game received positive comments, thanks to its great graphics that can match the current hardware on the latest generation of game systems.
The new "Demon's Souls" also added new accessories, weapons, and armors, that will surely excite long-time and new fans. What's great about the remake is that the publisher also included new content together with other improvements.
Looper reported that although some general mechanics and exploits remained the same in the remake, there are still some players that find it hard to play, especially when it comes to defeating bosses.
If you're one of them, always remember that these boss demons still have some glaring weaknesses, just like in the original version. To help you get started, here's a quick guide on how to easily beat the Vanguard boss, the first major boss of the game.
How to beat the Vanguard boss
The Vanguard boss is considered the first demon boss of the game. However, it still depends on the player's choice. Why? Because you can easily skip the fight against him by running past this demon and diving into a hole located right behind the boss.

You can also fight it to experience how strong the Vanguard boss is. To defeat this monster easily, all you need to do is keep dodging its attacks and use melee strikes.
You can also focus on its backside since its butt slam and major cleaves makes this part vulnerable. Aside from Vanguard boss, other players consider Phalanx as the first major demon enemy. It also has a major weakness that you can take advantage of. Phalanx is really weak when it comes to fire attacks. This means that you need to grab as many firebombs as possible before reaching its level.
Glitch makes you a one-hit-killing machine
According to the International Business Times' latest report, "Demon's Souls" remake is currently experiencing a unique bug that makes many players one-hit-killing machines. To use the glitch, all you need to do is to farm Gold Coins. The players must use a Gold Coin before talking to the Maiden in Black so that their stats will increase dramatically.
It was also confirmed that this glitch only works with Blueblood Sword, the only weapon with both magical and physical damage that scales with the glitch. You can try it for fun or just ignore it if you're a true warrior.
