The idea of life existing on Mars has been something that humanity has been fascinated with for quite some time now. There have been countless movies, theories, and other material that either jokingly or strongly believed that there was indeed life on the Red Planet. The curiosity has even prompted humanity to send advanced machines just like NASA's Perseverance rover up into space in order to search for life on another planet.
Is there a life on Mars?
An article by CNet, notes that a new study suggests that humanity should really take a deeper look at Mars. According to a particular research team that was led by the Rutgers University planetary scientist known as Lujjendra Ojha, there might be something new here. The examination done by Ojha and the team found a perplexing problem when it came to finding the long-ago habitability of planet Mars, the paradox of the really faint young sun.
The sun, as we know, was not always what it was which is a perky ball of both heat and light. It is believed that about 4 million long years ago, the sun was actually much fainter so the climate of a much earlier Mars should have actually been freezing. Rutgers gave the statement on Wednesday. It was stated that there is still a bit of mystery because scientists have been able to find signs of water in Mars' own past.
Life on Mars evidence
The current research being done has even pointed towards the long-ago liquid over on the unknown Martian surface as a possibility that the planet previously experienced megafloods. If it were indeed warm and wet, it was stated that Mars might even have certainly been habitable for microbial life. As of the moment, the question is how to get the meltwater along with the faint young sun?
An official paper that was published by Ojha along with his colleagues in the known Science Advances journal today gives light to this problem. Ojha stated that he as well as his co-authors actually propose that the known faint young sun paradox might actually be reconciled.

Did Mars used to be Earth?
The possibility of reconciliation, even if only partly, could happen if Mars really did have high geothermal heat way in the past, It was stated that this is a particular phenomenon that was already seen on planet Earth along decaying elements that all produce heat as well as melt ice sheets from down below.
It was then stated that if Mars had previously experienced the stated conditions, it could also scientifically explain the seen liquid water despite the previous faint sun. This theory, however, can only be confirmed when scientists finally make it to the moon.
As of the moment, this is a top priority not just for NASA but also for SpaceX. The company has been very vocal about its dreams to be able to send humanity to Mars for the very first time in history. Although, it might seem like still a long way off.
