WePC, online tech portal best known for computer building guides, is gearing up to provide the masses with crucial information and top deals for the upcoming Black Friday weekend.
Its guides include fearless forecasts of what will be this year's best selling brands and components, a live tracking of sales conditions, as well as the best deals both for gamers and employees looking to invest in personal computers (PC).
Casting Bets for Black Friday Bestsellers
The tech site has released its sales predictions with "Black Friday 2020 Winners Predictions" - its own compilation of "Winners" for each PC hardware category. Recognizing the year 2020 as a "turbulent year where nobody should ever try to predict anything ever again," WePC took its own team to predict the sales performances of some of the most popular hardware pieces, based on consumer response on their Twitter polls.
Aside from boldly predicting that Taiwanese brand MSI will emerge as the top brand, the team behind these predictions also reported their key findings from its series of Twitter polls. For example, one in every five people, or 20 percent, of people who usually splurge on Black Friday sales said that they are skipping this year. Additionally, 41 percent of participants declared a budget of just $250 for PC tech. On the other hand, 15% of respondents are looking to spend over a thousand dollars.
Since the coronavirus pandemic has forced stay-at-home orders, there has been a significant increase in gaming activities during the lockdown. Based on the survey, 13 percent claim that this Black Friday will be their first gaming PC shopping experience.
Additionally, WePC will be hosting a live Hot Beat tracker, which will monitor the sales of PC parts and peripherals and see if their forecasts will hit the mark. To monitor which parts are hot and which are not, check their site's "Black Friday LIVE! What's Selling The Best Right Now?"
