The famous Japanese multinational video game company, Nintendo, is brewing up a new "Pokemon" game under its sleeves and sees a 2021 release for its hybrid console, the Nintendo Switch. The next game would be a special release from Nintendo because of a massive event for its game development team.

Game Freak's 25th Anniversary: Nintendo Switch 'Pokemon' 2021 Game
According to Comicbook Gaming, massive Japanese game developer, Game Freak, is now back to working with Nintendo for a new "Pokemon" game that would be suited for the 3D open world of Nintendo Switch. The game would be the second open-world game that would focus on trainer adventures and a gameplay storyline.
Additionally, Game Freak is close to celebrating its 25th anniversary for developing the "Pokemon" game series with Nintendo. This partnership helped launch the companies to major successes that established both as part of Japan's video game giants.
The Pokemon manga's first three generations already got its remake with the past titles released by Nintendo on its different platforms.
- Generation 1 with Kanto region's Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Pikachu, got remade into a Switch game with "Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee" which picked up on "Pokemon Yellow.";
- Generation 2 with Johto's Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile saw two GBA versions with the "HeartGold" and "Soul Silver."; and
- Generation 3's Hoenn Region with Mudkip, Torchic, and Treecko got a Nintendo 3DS "Omega Ruby" and "Omega Sapphire" remake.
Nintendo Switch Leaks: Pokemon 2021 Game is 'Diamond and Pearl'
The trend for Pokemon games that leakers believe see that the next Nintendo Switch game would be a remake of the "Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl." This story revolves around the manga's Generation IV, following the development pattern that covered the remake first three generations.
Twitter's French Nintendo leaker, Kelios (@KeliosFR), reveals that there would be four Pokemon games that would debut Nintendo's Switch platform for 2021. The games are namely "Pokemon Snap," "Pokemon UNITE," "Pokemon Detective Pikachu 2," and the main series remake.
The leaker strongly points the main series remake to be Nintendo DS' 2006 release of "Diamond and Pearl." However, it is quite noting that these are all based on speculations despite Kelios being a trusted leaker who saw his previous beliefs coming to the platform.
There are no comments, news, or teaser from either Game Freak or Nintendo regarding the new Pokemon 2021 game for the Nintendo Switch. This game would follow "Pokemon Sword and Shield," the 8th Generation from the manga.
