CDC warns against drinking coronavirus hand sanitizers
Health officials then gave the warning to locals not to drink the known Russian-made antiseptic. This should not be taken as a substitute for alcoholic beverages and should not be drunk in any circumstance. A criminal case regarding the deaths of these partygoers has now been officially opened. There have already been multiple warnings coming even from the CDC regarding the ingestion of these hand sanitizers.
According to them, this is very dangerous and could result in fatalities. This is why the antiseptic should only be used on the hands to clean.
