Apple has finally released iOS 14.2.1. However, don't get too excited yet since iPhone's latest system version is confirmed a small one.
On Nov. 20, the tech giant manufacturer launched the latest system to fix bugs that iOS 14.2 users were previously suffering from on their new iPhones. The system's bugs began to appear when the previous version was released on Nov. 5.
According to Ars Technica's latest report, the latest release was not supported by updates to all of Apple's other operating systems, unlike the previous iOS launches.
What does iOS 14.2.1 provide?
According to Tech Radar, the new system focuses on bug fixes instead of providing new features to iPhone users. So, don't expect it to give you additional functions on your device.

The new update will fix the issue that makes the iPhone 12 mini's screen unresponsive. Although reports about this bug are not that many, this is still a common one since Apple had to issue a fix for it.
Another issue it will solve is the bug that prevents MMS iPhones from receiving MMS messages. It will also work on the sound quality issues that were found when people are using connected hearing devices.
Although it is not an exciting update for more users since it doesn't bring groundbreaking features, iPhone users are still advised to install iOS 14.2.1 so that their gadgets are up to date with the latest security software.
If your device is already running iOS 14, you can easily download it since it's available on any Apple smartphone.
What iOS 14.2 provides that iOS 14.2.1 don't
You can't deny that iOS 14.2 is better than iOS 14.2.1. Unlike the current system, iOS 14.2 provides both fixes and additional features, including 100 new emojis. It also brought eight new wall papers i both dark and light mode versions, a magnifier than can detect people nearby, support for iPhone 12 Leather Sleeve with MagSafe, and many more.
iOS 14.2 also improved headphone audio level notifications. This new feature alerts users when their device's sound is too loud, which could affect their hearing.
It also provides New AirPlay controls to stream entertainment throughout an individual's home. It is really evident that iOS 14.2.1 is no match with iOS 14.2. However, we'll never know when will Apple release another iPhone system that can provide fixes and better features that can surely improve your experience.
