Tesla is facing problems with implementing automated payment
Home charging is said to be one of the best advantages of owning an EV over owning gasoline-powered cars. It's harder to achieve, however, if people park their vehicle in a certain shared parking lot.
Tesla is now facing challenges in convincing property managers, landlords, or other HOAs to go forth and install these charging stations. Part of the problem is how these EV owners are going to be able to pay for the said electricity that they consume.
As of the moment, Tesla plans to actually have its very own platform in order for them to manage the said charging sessions as well as automatic payment system for other property managers. This should make life a lot easier to manage a whole charging station in a said apartment building.
