It seems like NVIDIA has finally finalized the upcoming specifications to be announced for its new upcoming GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. In a particular tweet by Kopite7kimi, it was previously reported that NVIDIA's very own GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is just being prepped in order to take on its recently introduced competition, the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT which flaunts more memory as well as beefier specs compared to the RTX 3080, according to a report by Wccftech.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Almost Cancelled
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti was reportedly giving huge boosts on specs along with just the same cores as the popular RTX 3090 along with 20GB VRAM in order to go head on with AMD's known Radeon RX 6800 XT. It was also recently reported that NVIDIA has been working on its own GeForce RTX 3080 Ti as well as the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPUs which will both be using the GA102 GPU core as well as offer much faster GPU performance.
There were also other reports stating that the initial design of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti as well as the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti were both canceled ever since they were not able to be on par with the competition. This then led NVIDIA to go straight back towards the drawing board in order to release these wanted specs.
Rumored NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU specifications
After just a few months, it looks like NVIDIA has been able to finalize its specifications on the upcoming GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU. The details that Kopite7kimi suggests is that the upcoming GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition or FE GPUs will be featuring the PG133-SKU15 PCB design as well as the GA 102-250-KD-A1 GPUs.
The specifications for the given GA102-250 GPU have also experienced quite a change since the last time seen and they are now going to be exactly the same as the GeForce RTX 3090 at the 10496 FP32 CUDA cores. This translates to the customers getting just the same performance as the RTX 3090 but sold at a lower price.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti expected specifications
There is a possibility that a selection of these blocks would then be disabled for the GA102-250 graphics card and the said card would almost 100% certainly run at reduced clock speeds but these still remain to be seen. As for the given memory, the card will be featuring 20GB of the GDDR6X memory.
Quite unlike the said 19.5 Gbps speeds of the latest RTX 3090, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will retain the very same memory at 19 Gbps as the RTX 3080. Aside from the 20GB interface, NVIDIA is said to be using a 320-bit bus interface that will equal a 760 GB/s total bandwidth. The TGP for the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is said to be 320 Watts which is the same as the RTX 3080.
